The Spartans took care of business against the Golden Gophers in Friday night’s series opener, winning by the final score of 9-3. Michigan State pulled away from the Golden Gophers in the second period to earn the impressive blowout victory.
With Friday’s win, Michigan State is now 20-3-2 overall and holds a four-point lead in the Big Ten Standings. Minnesota is now 19-6-2 on the year.
