How to watch MSU Basketball vs. Minnesota today: Time, TV channel, Prediction

Michigan State basketball will look to stay perfect in Big Ten play, with a hot foe coming to town on Tuesday.

The Spartans host Minnesota from the Breslin Center on Tuesday evening. Michigan State and Minnesota both come into this matchup with notable win streaks and strong play as of late.

Michigan State has won 12 straight games dating back to the Maui Invitational. The Spartans are 17-2 overall and 8-0 in Big Ten play.

The Golden Gophers are also riding a nice winning streak, with victories in each of their last three games. Those wins came against Michigan, Iowa (on the road) and Oregon. Minnesota is 11-9 overall and 3-6 in Big Ten play.

This will be the second meeting of this season between the Spartans and Golden Gophers. Michigan State made easy work of Minnesota in the first matchup — winning by the final score of 90-72 in early December.

Michigan State vs. Minnesota predictions, picks, odds

Michigan State 82, Minnesota 68: The Golden Gophers have been starting to play better, with an impressive recent stretch of play. But this will be a tougher matchup than any of those recent wins. Michigan State had a lackluster performance against Rutgers and still found a way to win. I anticipate they come with more of an edge in this one.

ODDS: Michigan State -12.5

O/U: 139.5
