United continue to struggle under Ruben Amorim, who faces a huge week as he attempts to salvage some silverware from what has been a hugely disappointing campaign.
Amorim’s side face Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday and then host Arsenal in the Premier League next Sunday.
Victory would help build some confidence ahead of the Sociedad tie but United face a tough test against a Fulham side who are enjoying a good season under Marco Silva and are nine points above them in the Premier League table.
But, in a wide open FA Cup with Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all out, United will sense an opportunity.
