How to watch Man City vs Brentford with TV channel and live stream details

Manchester City welcome Brentford to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday for the final competitive club fixture before the season paused for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

Pep Guardiola's side, who currently sit second in the Premier League table, defeated Chelsea in the EFL Cup in midweek, and were victorious over Fulham in the league last weekend.

The Blues find themselves two points behind league-leaders Arsenal, and Guardiola will be desperate to end the first-half of the season with a win at the weekend.

What is the early Man City vs Brentford team news?

Erling Haaland, who was an unused substitute in midweek, could return to the starting line-up, with Guardiola expected to make several changes to the team that beat Chelsea.

Kalvin Phillips came off the bench in the second-half against Graham Potter's side to make his first City appearance in eight weeks after recovering from shoulder surgery. The midfielder could be set to get some valuable minutes after being included in England's World Cup squad. Meanwhile, Kyle Walker, who was also named in the Three Lions squad, remains out as he continues to recover from groin surgery.

Brentford are set to be without Pontus Jansson (hamstring), Aaron Hickey, Thomas Strakosha (both ankle), Kristoffer Ajer, Charlie Goode (both knee), Vitaly Janelt and Shandon Baptiste (both muscle).
