Chelsea could move to within just two points of fifth place when they visit Anfield to face Liverpool on Saturday.
The Blues have endured, somewhat, of a miserable campaign to date, currently finding themselves midtable in the Premier League, leaving boss Graham Potter to hope that the high-profile arrivals of Mykhailo Mudryk and Benoit Badiashile will spark a mid-season revival.
They did, however, beat Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge last time out courtesy of Kai Havertz's 64th-minute strike. Whilst the potential of consecutive triumphs could, theoretically, change the landscape of Chelsea's season, an unprecedented level of consistency must be assumed across the latter months of the campaign.

Liverpool, too, have failed to emulate the success of previous years. Despite reaching the final of each domestic and European competition they played, as well as coming within touching distance of a Premier League title, last season, the Reds are currently outsiders for a top-four finish.
Jurgen Klopp's side suffered embarrassment at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, with Solly March's brace, alongside a Danny Welbeck effort, sealing an emphatic 3-0 for the Seagulls.
Either side will move onto 31 points by coming away from Merseyside with 3 points, subsequently moving up to 6th and two points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the process.
