King Charles III will arrive in Edinburgh today in his first visit to the capital since being crowned as the new British sovereign.
Scotland is to mark the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla with a series of events including a service of thanksgiving, a royal procession and a Red Arrows flypast.
His Majesty and Queen Camilla will attend the National Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication, as part of the annual Scottish Royal week.
The King will be presented with the Honor's of Scotland at St Giles' Cathedral on Wednesday afternoon as part of the sovereign's ascension to the throne. Those not able to see the historic event take place in person will be happy to know that it will be aired on television as well as online.
The event will begin with the Royal Procession, which will depart from Edinburgh Castle at 1.15pm, followed by the Thanksgiving service kicking off at 2.15pm.

How to watch the King's Scottish Coronation on TV
Live coverage of the King's Coronation will be broadcast on BBC One today from 1.30pm, meaning it won't be showing the Peoples Procession leave Edinburgh Castle.
Presenters Sally Magnusson and James Naughtie will guide viewers through the special service at St Giles' Cathedral. There will be music from Nicola Benedetti, Karen Cargill, the National Youth Choir of Scotland and more.
BBC's live coverage will last for two hours and 14 minutes. Both the Household Cavalry and the Red Arrows will add to the colour and spectacle of the historic occasion.

Viewers can also watch the ceremony online through the BBC iPlayer.
Those who wish to do so must ensure they are signed up for the service before hand. Royal fans can also listen to the service broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
The Royal Family's Youtube channel will also be broadcasting the full event, including the Royal Procession, from 12.30pm today.

How to watch the King's Coronation outside of the UK
Unfortunately, the BBC iPlayer will not broadcast to anyone based outside of Britain, as its content is unavailable in other regions.
However, YouTube can be watched anywhere in the world and this includes the Royal Family's live broadcast. Several US channels will also be showing the event and these include ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News and NBC.
