Italy return to action at the Rugby World Cup against Uruguay this afternoon.
The Azzurri have had an 11-day break since kicking off their Pool A campaign with a thumping 52-8 bonus-point win over Namibia in Saint-Etienne.
And Kieran Crowley’s side will be expected to see off the spirited Los Teros at the Stade de Nice on Wednesday as they try to keep their slim quarter-final hopes alive with huge clashes against New Zealand and hosts France approaching fast on the horizon.
But Italy won’t have it all their own way against a feisty and plucky Uruguay team that gave a second-string Les Bleus outfit all they could handle in a valiant 27-12 loss in their opener in Lille last week.
