Crystal Palace travel to face Ipswich tonight in a key fixture at the bottom of the Premier League table.
It has been a hugely disappointing first full season in charge of the Eagles so far for Oliver Glasner, with the buzz generated from his side’s impressive form towards the end of last season having long since disappeared.
Palace currently sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference only after collecting just one win and nine points from their opening 13 matches, though they are now unbeaten in back-to-back games after dramatic draws with tough opposition in both Aston Villa and Newcastle.
They will be desperate to add to that solitary league victory at Portman Road against an Ipswich team that start the night sitting level on points with their opponents but two spots worse off and in the bottom three in their first season at this level for 22 years.
Ipswich have the same record as Palace and have actually scored more goals so far this term, but also conceded more. Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys have lost only one of their last four, having stunned Tottenham away and claimed draws with Leicester and Manchester United before being edged out by Nottingham Forest last time out.
