How to watch F1 Japanese Grand Prix: TV channel and live stream as Max Verstappen looks to win title today

Max Verstappen is out to clinch another Formula One world title as the F1 roadshow rolls into Suzuka for today’s Japanese Grand Prix.

If the Dutchman - who is on pole - wins Sunday’s race and in doing so seals a bonus point for the fastest lap, he will be crowned champion for the second successive season irrespective of the finishing positions of closest rival Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez, who triumphed against the odds in a chaotic race in Singapore last weekend.

There are plenty of other ways Verstappen can secure the 2022 championship as racing returns to the Suzuka Circuit for the first time since 2019.

He will certainly be hoping for a swift improvement on Marina Bay, after only crossing the finish line in seventh after a poor performance by his high standards having being left furious by a fuel miscalculation from the team in qualifying.
