England begin their 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign against Fiji in Auckland on Saturday morning.
The formidable Red Roses head to New Zealand as the red-hot favourites to clinch a third title and first since 2014, having finished as runners-up following a painful 41-32 defeat by New Zealand in Belfast five years ago.
Since then England have claimed four out of five Six Nations titles and a hat-trick of Grand Slams as they continue to absolutely dominate the European landscape, having won 25 straight tests and not been defeated since 2019.
Simon Middleton’s side are in Pool C, where they are joined by Fiji, France and South Africa, with Eden Park hosting their opening contest.
