How to watch England U21s vs France U21s: TV channel, live stream and kick-off time

England Under-21s take on France on Saturday as they step up their preparations for this summer's European Championships in Romania and Georgia.

Lee Carsley has named a strong squad for this international break as he seeks to nail down his starting line-up ahead of what many believe to be a real shot at success this summer. Thirteen of the 26-man squad currently play in the Premier League, while a further nine are on loan from top flight teams to the Championship or other European leagues.

Manchester City feature heavily. Rico Lewis and Cole Palmer have been rewarded with call-ups, and are also joined by James Trafford, who has been on-loan at Bolton Wanderers again this campaign, while Sheffield United loanees Tommy Doyle and James McAtee have also been. They pair are set to be denied an appearance at Wembley against their parent club in next month's FA Cup semi-final.

Other current Premier League stars include Liverpool's Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, Chelsea's Noni Madueke and Levi Colwill, who has been loaned to Brighton this season, Arsenal's Emile Smith-Rowe and Tottenham's Oliver Skipp.

France too possess a strong squad with plenty of players from Europe's elite divisions. From the Premier League, recognisable names are Chelsea's £35-million man, Benoit Badiashile, Leeds United's Illan Meslier and Crystal Palace's Michael Olise.

For England, having failed to progress from the group stage at their last two Euros, there is hope the current crop of talent can go deep into the tournament. Their game against France is a 5pm kick off on Saturday and is being shown live on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button. There will also be coverage on the BBC Sport website.
