How to watch Champions League tonight on TV, live stream and highlights

Champions League football is back on our screens this week after two months away and there is a fantastic line-up of fixtures for fans to enjoy over the next few weeks.

The Round of 16 will feature teams who finished top of their groups playing against those who finished second in autumn's group stage games.

Manchester City will hope to kick-start their challenge for their most coveted piece of silverware with a trip to Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday at 7:45, where fans will expect a win.

Elsewhere, PSG will host Real Madrid in the marquee fixture of the round at the same time, meanwhile, Manchester United kick off their knockout stage next Wednesday 23 February with a tough assignment against Atletico Madrid.

For the other English sides, Liverpool will take on Italian champions and current league leaders Inter while Chelsea have an easier assignment against Lille.

For the first time, away goals will not be a factor after the rule was scrapped and it will be interesting to see how this unfolds with the rule providing lots of drama in the past.

What channel is the Round of 16 on?

Every Champions League game is shown on BT Sport, with the broadcaster retaining its exclusive rights deal to show the competition across its various platforms.

Most Round of 16 games will be shown on either BT Sport 1, 2 or 3 - details on how to sign up can be found on the BT Sport website. Alternatively, a monthly pass can be obtained for £25 per month here with no monthly contract.

BT Sport will have highlights available after the matches with the coverage until 10.30pm on BT Sport 2.
