How to watch Champions League final for free tonight without a BT Sport subscription for Liverpool v Real Madrid

Liverpool will bid to become champions of Europe for a seventh time when they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Paris on Saturday night.

The Reds are set to resume rivalries with Spanish giants, whom they met back in 2018 in Kyiv. On that occasion, a sublime Gareth Bale double secured victory for Los Blancos. Jurgen Klopp's side have since gone on to lift the famous trophy since that defeat, but there will nevertheless be a thirst for revenge on the red half of Merseyside.

Fans across the UK can tune in to watch the big game for free thanks to BT Sport. Here's how:

Where can I watch the Champions League final? Is it free?

Coverage from the Stade de France is set to get under way on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate from 6pm on Saturday, May 28. The match kicks off at 8pm.

Fans can catch all the action for free at www.btsport.com/final, on the BT Sport YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/btsport, via the BT Sport App for small and large-screen devices.

The final will also be available on Virgin Media TiVo, TV360 and Stream platforms on channel 532 (HD).

The TV channels to watch BT Sport

BT TV customers can tune in on channel 430 (BT Sport 1) or 433 (BT Sport Ultimate), while Sky TV customers catch the action on channel 413 (HD).

Non-customers can add BT Sport to their TV subscription by clicking here.

Virgin Media users can watch the game for free. Simply tune in to channel 527 (BT Sport 1 HD) or 531 (BT Sport Ultimate).

How to get YouTube on your TV

Viewers can watch YouTube on a number of devices, and on TV, too.

YouTube carries a list of the supported devices you can use, including games consoles, smart TVs, streaming media devices and satellite providers.

Viewers can also control their YouTube experience on TV by linking their phone, tablet or computer to the TV with a TV code. You can find the instructions on how to do that here.

You can also cast YouTube onto your TV using a device such as a Google Chromecast or Amazon Firestick. A HDMI cable from your computer to TV will also do the job.
