With that in mind, Barca will feel confident. They weathered the storm and came out with a crucial victory, so surely have to be considered favourites to progress. Now back in Spain, it would be a surprise not to see them do so.
It will soon be ten years since Barcelona last won this competition. Arguably on the kinder side of the draw this season, excitement is building about a potential victory to add to their list of crowns.
