Liverpool are back in Premier League action today as they take on Aston Villa in their Boxing Day clash.
The Reds take on Villa in their Boxing Day clash this afternoon at Villa Park. It will be their first top flight fixture since the World Cup where they beat Southampton 3-1 on November 12.
Jurgen Klopp ’s side go into the game in sixth place in the league table and seven points adrift of the Champions League places, with a game in hand. Liverpool recently lost to Manchester City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, and will be keen to get back to winning ways.
