Artur Beterbiev puts his light-heavyweight titles on the line as he fights Callum Smith in Quebec City tonight.
It has been a relentless march to the top of the division from Beterbiev, who holds the WBC, IBF, and WBO belts and a perfect professional record. All 19 of his wins have come inside the distance.
The most recent of those was 12 months ago in London when he took on Anthony Yarde, coming out on top after eight thrilling rounds, and having beaten Callum Johnson in 2018, Beterbiev looks to add a third win over a British fighter to his record.
Smith moved up to 175lbs after his defeat to Canelo Alvarez three years ago and has won both of his fights at the new weight in convincing fashion, though this is a massive step up in terms of opposition.
Should Smith pull off the upset, he will become a two-weight world champion and potentially set-up an undisputed bout with Dmitry Bivol later this year.
