Leeds Festival 2023 looks like being a great weekend and there are volunteer opportunities available to those who’d like to be part of it.
Big name headline acts Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, Foals, The Killers, Imagine Dragons and Lewis Capaldi. They will be joined by the most exciting talent in rock, indie, alternative, hip hop and dance including Becky Hill, Bicep Live, Wet Leg, Central Cee, Declan McKenna, Don Broco, Steve Lacy, MK, Inhaler, Slowthai, Tion Wayne, Trippie Redd and many more.
Leeds Festival 2023, and its sister event in Reading, will take place between Friday, August 25 and Sunday, August 27. There are still tickets available which you can buy through Ticketmaster and the Leeds Festival website.

Although, if perhaps you can’t stretch to the ticket cost or you just fancy helping out at Bramham Park there are some Leeds Festival volunteer opportunities available. You’ll need to be 18 or over by the time you arrive at the festival site, have proof to volunteer in the UK.

Oxfam
The global charity has shifts available as stewards at Bramham Park for Leeds Festival 2023. They state: “At Leeds our stewards cover the arena and gates over three shifts of eight hours. So, you’ll never be far from the action and when you’re not on shift the festival is your oyster.
“You’ll also get access to our secure campsite, with perks like free hot drinks, hot showers, and device charging, and we’ll give you a meal ticket for every shift too.”
To take up an opportunity with Oxfam you’ll need to pay a deposit in advance which will be refunded after your festival shifts are complete. You’ll be able to sign up from March 18. You can find out more here.
Green Team
Environmental group Green Team will also be offering volunteer roles at Leeds Fest. They state: “We’re looking for volunteers who are full of energy, passionate about the environment and enjoy engaging with people about green issues. As a member of our Green Team you will receive a crew wristband, get to camp in crew camping with like-minded people and access to hot showers and nice toilets.
“You will also gain valuable experience in the sustainable events field, whilst taking time to enjoy the festival when not volunteering.” To find out more about working with Green Team email gmessengers@festivalrepublic.com.
Hotbox Events
Another way of volunteering is with Hotbox Events, in collaboration with Leeds Festival, to help with the smooth running of the fun at the site. There’s many roles available across Bramham Park to help do this.
They include:
- Helping those in campsites
- Answering questions about festival performances and line ups
- Helping carry belongings for those attending Leeds Festival and pitching their tents
- Reporting any problems such as litter or faulty facilities
- Working alongside Leeds Festival fire safety, medical and security teams
- Keeping an eye on the festival campsites from the fire towers
While there’s also potential to help with various roles across the festival site including pedestrian and vehicle gates, wristband exchanges and monitoring stages and walkways among other opportunities.
