How to see your Spotify Wrapped for 2022

Spotify released its annual Wrapped on Wednesday, as music lovers around the world take to social media to share their 2022 music round-up. The popular feature collates listening data to show users their most-listened to artists and tracks from throughout the year.

Wrapped presents Spotify users with a slideshow showing your top lists of songs, genres, and podcasts, as well as how many minutes each have been listened to. Users can view a list of their top 100 songs of the year, as well as its new “audio day,” which shows an interactive story giving users a peek into how your music taste evolved throughout the day.

The new feature shows the different types of music users listened to during the morning, midday, and evening. Spotify also curates its own playlists based on the most popular artists from the year.

Topping the list of the most popular tracks in the UK was the Harry Styles hit As It Was, with almost 97m streams – globally it has been streamed a whopping 1.5bn times. The most popular artist in the UK overall was Taylor Swift, who recently released her latest album Midnights.

How to see your Spotify Wrapped

Accessing your own Spotify Wrapped is easy, and can be done simply by opening the Spotify app on your mobile or tablet and tapping the ‘Wrapped 2022’ icon on its home screen. This will take you to the Wrapped homepage where you can view your top songs playlist and all your Wrapped stats.

Discover, learn, grow. We are Curiously. Follow us on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

To view your slideshow, tap on the icon which says ‘Your Wrapped is here’. Here, you can also access your top songs playlist and any other playlists generated by Wrapped based on your favourite artists and songs.

If Wrapped is not showing on your Spotify homepage, you may need to update the app, which must be running at least version 8.7.78. One should note Wrapped reportedly only collates data from January 1 and October 31, so anything listened to from November onwards may not be taken into account.
