We’ve seen some gorgeous moons in 2024, including the Strawberry Moon back in June. and a stunning shot of a full moon with the Eiffel Tower and Olympic rings.
But this one is very special. On Monday night, August 19 2024, we’ll get what’s called a blue supermoon. The latter term is when the moon is as close as it can be to the Earth, and then the blue moon, which is the third full moon in a season.
So if you look out at the sky, you’ll see the combo of both those moons, and the photos (one of which you can see from Australia above) will be stunning.
