The Arctic Monkeys are coming to Manchester next summer as part of their newly announced UK and Ireland tour and tickets are on sale.
Fans can buy tickets from 9am Friday September 30 on Ticketmaster and SeeTickets. Thousands of fans are expected to queue to try and get tickets to one of the bands shows in Manchester, another show on June 3 was added due to increased demand. Arctic Monkeys will now play in Manchester on June 2 and June 3 2023.
Playing at Manchester's Emirates Old Trafford the demand to see the band live is increasing as hotels near the stadium start to sell-out.

Fans who pre-ordered the bands new album 'The Car' were able to buy tickets before general sale started, which led to a sell-out presale for Manchester's date. As for general sale, being as early as possible is the best way to ensure you get tickets, as the pre-sale queue numbers reached thousands.
The amount of people who join the online queue will also have an affect on the ticket prices, standard seated tickets have sold from £72.50 on SeeTickets, but as demand increases so will the price in line with the controversial 'demand based pricing' system. This sees the price go up as more people visit the website.
This happened in the recent pre-sale of Harry Styles 'Love on Tour' tickets, as the queue reached 100,000 people within the first couple of hours. Buying tickets can be stressful, especially if thousands of other people are trying to buy at the same time as you.
Early access through pre-sale is your best chance to secure tickets, and if this fails you still have the general sale to try. As well as this there are some other factors to consider that will boost your chances.

- Make sure your Ticketmaster account is up to date: address, name and bank details
- Log on and join the waiting room 15 minutes early
- Join the queue in more than one browser and on two devices (phone, tablet, laptop)
- Know when to refresh - perfect just before the queue starts but NOT once you are in the queue as you'll be kicked out
