Calling all pancake lovers! Pancake spaghetti is the latest foodie trend taking over TikTok, demonstrating a new and creative way to step up your breakfast game.
With Pancake Day falling on February 21 this year, why not stray away from the classic crepe or fluffy American style pancakes and try pancake squiggles instead.

One TikTok user shared his idea of ‘squiggle cakes’ when he was making pancakes 'very quickly' for his kids before they went to school, saw a packet of spaghetti lying on the counter and thought 'wait a minute… this might be interesting'.
Basically what the American dad did was whip up some pancake batter, pour it into a ziplock bag, and using clean scissors he perforated the bag making a tiny hole that he could squeeze the mix out of.
When the mix is ready, you can pipe thin strips onto a heated pan. You can either squeeze the mix into straight lines or one big connected squiggle. However he said if you use the line method, you will get one side to be really crispy and fried and won’t need to flip them over as the top side comes out nice and fluffy.
Using tongs, grab your pancake spaghetti and pop it into a bowl. The fun part is always deciding what topping you’re going to smother your pancakes in.
People who watched the video on TikTok seemed impressed with this dad’s innovative idea with one user commenting “This is so sweet and cool!” and another saying “this is definitely going to be the next big food trend cus I’m even about to try it.”
Another viewer commented “open a restaurant this would be such a hit dish.”
A self-taught home chef who has 1.7m followers, saw people testing out this trend and decided to “elevate it” by making Oreo pancake spaghetti.
Try his recipe out below
Oreo Pancake Spaghetti (serves 4)
2 cups all purpose flour

Step 4: Add to a bowl with maple syrup and garnish with the remaining crushed Oreos.
