For many of us, grabbing a special coffee such as a frappuccino can feel like a real treat.
Considering the cost of such drinks, however, getting into the habit of sneaking into your local Starbucks can leave your wallet feeling significantly lighter.
On average, a medium iced coffee from the global chain will set you back £3.61 – and that’s without any extra pumps of syrup.
So, what if you could make your favourite drinks at home for a fraction of the price? Well, much to the delight of your bank balance, you can.
Price comparison company Uswitch weighed up the cost of making the drinks at home compared to buying them in-store, and the difference in price for some of the beverages is staggering. They also shared some recipes for how you can replicate your favourite order at home.
