How to get your Netflix Wrapped

You can now see a round-up of everything you've watched on Netflix this year. Netflix Wrapped shows you how many minutes you spent streaming content and the best film you watched according to IMDB.

A viral TikTok video showing people how they can access their Netflix Wrapped has received thousands of views and likes. Netflix Wrapped is based on Spotify Wrapped, a viral trend where users can see graphics about their listening habits including top song and artist.

The video gives a tutorial for users to be able to see a round-up of all their viewing habits for 2022. It has received some mixed comments, with many users excited about seeing their Wrapped and others concerned about where their data is being stored.

The TikTok gives users step-by-step instructions on how to see their Netflix Wrapped:

  1. Log into Netflix on your laptop
  2. Select your profile and click the icon with your profile in the top right corner of the screen
  3. Select account, and then scroll down to Profile and Parental Controls
  4. Click your account, and scroll down to Viewing Activity. This will show you your entire watch history on Netflix
  5. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Show More' in the bottom left of the screen until you get to 01/01/2022, or however far back you want to go
  6. Click 'Download all' in the bottom right of the screen, and a file will download to your laptop with your Netflix history
  7. Open a new tab and go to kawpwing netflix wrapped
  8. Click the red button in the middle labelled 'Import NetflixViewingHistory.csv'
  9. Find your viewing history that you downloaded from Netflix, and select the file to import it.
  10. Enjoy!

Your Wrapped will tell you how many minutes, hours, or days you spent streaming TV shows and films on the platform, as well as your most binge-ful day. It will also tell you which film you watched on the platform is the best, based on their IMBD rating.

The TikTok has had mixed reactions, with one user commenting that the process is "too much work", and another saying: "I mean, fun I guess but it's also just...dumping a whole lot of data on a company for free for a single chuckle and forgetting about it forever".

Other users claim to be having issues with loading times, but many are excited to see a round-up of their viewing history. One commented: "I'm so gonna do this", and another said: "this is so cool".
