The away kit, reminiscent of the Republic of Ireland’s 1996 away shirt, consists of black shorts with orange on the side and an orange top with black on the sleeves.

The Irish national teams could be seen wearing the new kits as early as late March with the men’s team due to take on Roberto Martínez’s Belgium side in a friendly on Saturday, March 26 at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

The women’s side is due to play against Sweden in their FIFA Women’s 2023 World Cup qualifier game on Tuesday, April 12 at the Gamla Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The team are currently second in the table ahead of Finland and Georgia, and eight points behind Sweden with a game in hand.

The next major international competition for the men’s team will be the UEFA Nations League starting in June.
