Dozens of musicians, rappers and bands are set to entertain audiences on Manchester stages this October, with a jam-packed gig list from all genres and decades.
September saw a two-day stint from George Ezra at the AO Arena, as well as performances from Fleet Foxes, The Charlatans and Swedish House Mafia - but could Autumn have even more for our music-mad city?
Some of the biggest shows in Manchester this month include many of our homegrown artists returning to the city, such as Morrissey and Peter Hook at the O2 Apollo, Richard Ashcroft at the AO Arena and rapper Aitch at the O2 Victoria Warehouse.

Meanwhile, the Neighbourhood Festival will see The Snuts, Everything Everything and Sundara Karma play in the city centre near Oxford Road, on October 1. A map with specific venues is yet to be announced on the website, where fans can also find a range of support acts for the one-day extravaganza.
Kasabian are also playing this month, as well as DMAs and The Wombats. Inhaler, who supported Kings of Leon in Manchester earlier this year, will have their headline gig, too. The Irish band’s frontman is the son of U2’s Bono.
We told you it was a big month, because it doesn’t stop there. Sugababes are back, as is Robbie Williams and Natalie Imbruglia, all performing live in Manchester this October. The Rasmus and The Pretty Reckless are also set to play. Taylor Momsen, lead vocalist for The Pretty Reckless, is best known for her roles as Cindy-Lou Who in The Grinch, and Jenny in the American drama Gossip Girl.
There are still tickets left for a number of the live events happening in Manchester in October, with prices starting at £26.91 for Sports Team. The most expensive tickets at the moment are for Morrissey, costing £143.65 to get in on resale.
