How to get Disney Plus and Hulu for free

(L to R) The Hulu, Disney Plus logos.

Hulu and Disney Plus finally become one this year as the pair have merged into one unified, money-saving streaming bundle. And now it's time for you to reap the benefits as a subscriber.

While users still have to have their own login, you can now purchase the services as well as HBO's Max streaming platform as the as part of the Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max bundle.

This money-saving deal gathers all three platforms into one super-streamer that you can save up to 38% on when you subscribe. You can get in on the deal for just $16.99 per month for the ad-supported option, which is $8.98 less than its normal price of $25.97.

You can also opt for the ad-free tier, which is $29.99 monthly and 38% off its normal price of $47.97. Anyone can take advantage of the bundle, so you're good to go even if you're a former subscriber coming back to the service.

But there are plenty of other ways to try out what Hulu and Disney Plus have to offer by way of trials, discounted services, and other perks you may not have been aware of. We've outlined them below so you can see what each has to offer without a hassle.

Does Disney Plus or Hulu have a free trial?

Interestingly, while Disney Plus does not have a free trial, Hulu’s standalone service does. New users can sign up for a 30-day Hulu free trial of the ad-supported tier or a 3-day trial of Hulu + Live TV on the official website. Currently there are no free trials available for the Disney Bundle or any of the ad-free options. If you're interested in signing up for it, you'll have to take the plunge without a test drive.

Disney Plus Basic (with ads) is now included with Spectrum TV Select cable TV packages or higher at no additional cost. Users can activate their Disney Plus Basic perk via an activation link on the Plan Details page of their Spectrum account.

Note: If you are already a Disney Plus subscriber, but want to take advantage of this offer you’ll need to cancel your old plan and sign up with a new email address to get this deal, as it cannot be applied to pre-existing Disney Plus accounts.

Hulu on Us for T-Mobile customers

Hulu With Ads is currently free for one year as part of a promotion available exclusively for T-Mobile’s Go5G Next unlimited customers. However, if you plan to take advantage of this deal, make sure to set a calendar reminder one day before your first anniversary, when the Hulu subscription will auto-renew at the regular monthly price.

Get the Verizon Disney Plus Bundle for free

Verizon offers customers who have Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate service can get a Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus bundle as a myPlan perk for free for six months. After this period, customers can continue to get the bundle for $10 monthly, essentially getting all three streaming services for the price of one as long as they don't downgrade or change their plan.

Do Disney Parks employees get free Disney Plus and Hulu?

Currently, salaried and hourly Disney Cast Members (what employees who work at Walt Disney World or Disneyland are called) can get the Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus ad-supported bundle for free as a perk of their employment. Cast Members can simply log on to Disney’s employment portal (known as The Hub), access their benefits area (where they normally find comp admissions) and activate their benefit from there. Note: This benefit is unavailable to those enrolled in the Disney College program.

Disney Plus, Hulu and Max bundle

The Disney Plus, Hulu and Max bundle is currently another option that's available, as previously stated.

You can save up to 38% on when you subscribe to this multi-streamer service. It's  $16.99 per month for the ad-supported option, which is $8.98 less than its normal price of $25.97.

The ad-free tier is also available, which is $29.99 monthly and 38% off its normal price of $47.97.

There is no trial available for the triple-service bundle, but you can sample each one individually should you be curious about what's available on each platform and how the services perform. This is, however, one of the most economical ways to maintain all three streamers if you're interested in doing so.
