Coldplay have announced four extra shows at Wembley Stadium to bring the total number to 10, to break the record shared by Taylor Swift and Take That.
The news comes after many fans were left frustrated on Thursday with long queues, even at the pre-sale stage, and hiked prices for concert tickets.
There was further frustration when some fans spotted tickets on resale sites such as Viagogo for more than £1,000, not long after the pre-sale began.
Thursday’s pre-sale was for fans who had pre-ordered the band’s tenth album, Moon Music, which is released next Friday.
There is still a general sale for initially announced shows and the further dates.
Here is what fans need to know.
