Lewis Capaldi has announced he's taking a break from live performances for the remainder of 2023, with dates across the UK and the world cancelled. This includes his July 1 date at Chepstow Racecourse - due to be his biggest Welsh live date ever.
Fans are throwing their support behind the Scottish singer, who at Glastonbury 2023 had an outpouring of love as he struggled to finish his set on the Pyramid Stage. Lewis has been recently diagnosed with Tourette's which has given the singer tics and he's been open with his mental health issues and how anxiety has affected his career, taking another break earlier this year.

Fans are behind the singer, who shot to fame in 2019 with his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent which became the best-selling album of that year and 2020. But also it's helpful to know how to get a refund for his Chepstow show.
In his statement thanking fans for the amazing messages of support, he said: "The fact that this probably won't come as a surprise doesn't make it any easier to write but I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future."
He went on to say that he was "incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show" but he wanted to be well enough to perform to a standard deserved by his dedicated fans. "Playing for you every night is all I've ever dreamed of so this has been the most difficult decision of my life."
