After a wild extra day of baseball to close the regular season on Monday, the National League playoffs begin on Tuesday, Oct. 1 and the Wild Card matchups are finally set.
The San Diego Padres will be hosting the Atlanta Braves, who won the second game of Monday’s doubleheader against the New York Mets to clinch their postseason berth.
The winner of the Wild Card series will advance to take on the No. 1 seed Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series.
