The UEFA Europa League final is set to kick-off the end of season trophy lifting when the two finalists are set to go head-to-head to win the competition in two weeks’ time, as 33,000 tickets are due to be in hot demand.
This year’s final changed venues from the Budapest Arena in Hungary to the 42,714-capacity Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville, Spain, meaning spectators got to swap eastern Europe for the sunny Mediterranean.
Here is all you need to know about how to buy tickets to the Europa League final, including how many are available and when they go on sale.
How many tickets will be available?
The 2021-22 UEFA Europa League final will take place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, the home of La Liga club Sevilla, on Wednesday, May 18. Despite the stadium having a capacity of 42,714, it will be reduced to 40,000 for this year’s final, while just 33,000 tickets are available to purchase.
20,000 tickets will be given to the two finalists to sell to their fans through their individual ticketing system, with both Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers having an allocation of 10,000 tickets each. The remaining 13,000 tickets were reserved for general sale by UEFA.
All remaining tickets will then be split between the local organising structure, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and the official hospitality programme.

How to buy Europa League final tickets
Like the Champions League final, the 13,000 tickets that were reserved for the general public for the 2022 Europa League final went on sale via UEFA's official website, which were sold on a first come, first served basis.
Those who are successful with their purchase from the UEFA website ticket sales will have four price categories available to them, with the cheapest seats available for €40 (£33) and the most expensive seats priced at €150 (£126). This pricing also applies for the supporters of Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers.
For the 10,000 tickets that are allocated to each finalist, they will have their own ticket sale process, and certain fans, such as season ticket holders and members, will have a higher level of priority to reward their loyalty to the club.
When do tickets go on sale?
Unfortunately, ticket sales for the general public started exclusively via UEFA.com on April 20 and ran through until April 28, meaning the entry date has now closed. Those who entered will be informed by email on or before Friday, May 6 as to whether they have been successful or not.
All tickets will be delivered via the official UEFA Mobile Tickets app, which is available to Android and iPhone users, 10 days before the final in Seville. You are advised to not buy tickets from any unauthorised ticketing websites, due to scamming risks.
Tickets for Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers supporters will be distributed by the clubs themselves in due course, following the completion of their semi-final victories on Thursday, May 5.
