The 2021-22 UEFA Champions League final takes place on May 28 and tickets are set to be in high demand as expected, as fans aim to be in attendance for one of the biggest games in club football.
This year’s final no longer takes place at the Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia after the nation’s invasion of Ukraine, and will now be held at the 80,698-seated Stade de France in Saint-Denis, Paris.
Here is all you need to know about how to buy tickets to the Champions League final, including how many are available and when they go on sale.
How many tickets will be available?
75,000 tickets are up for grabs to watch the Champions League final at the Stade de France on Saturday, May 28, of which UEFA has announced that 52,000 will be made available to supporters and the general public.
Both Liverpool and Real Madrid will receive an allocation of just 20,000, with 12,000 tickets being offered for sale to fans across the globe, while the two finalists will also give away 10,000 tickets free of charge to followers of their club.
All remaining tickets will then be split between the local organising structure, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and the official hospitality programme.

How to buy Champions League final tickets
It is important to note that both Liverpool and Real Madrid will have their own ticket sale process, and certain fans, such as season ticket holders and members, will have a higher level of priority to reward their loyalty to the club.
The general public were able to apply for tickets online via UEFA’s website, but the tickets that were made available through UEFA’s official portal were not sold on a first come, first served basis. Instead, a ballot has been put in place that needed to be registered for when applying.
Those who are successful in being picked out in the ballot will have four price categories available to them, with the cheapest seats available for €70 (£58) and the most expensive seats priced at €690 (£580). This pricing also applies for the supporters of the two clubs involved in the final.
When do tickets go on sale?
Ticket sales for the general public ballot started exclusively via UEFA.com on April 20 and ran through until April 28, meaning the entry date has now closed. Those who entered will be informed by email on or before Friday, May 6 as to whether they have been successful or not.
All tickets will be delivered via the official UEFA Mobile Tickets app, which is available to Android and iPhone users, 10 days before the final in Paris. You are advised to not buy tickets from any unauthorised ticketing websites, due to scamming risks.
Tickets for supporters of Liverpool and Real Madrid will be distributed by the clubs themselves at a later date, following the completion of the semi-finals this week, on Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4.
