How to build the perfect beer lineup for your Super Bowl party

The Super Bowl party is an annual rite for those among us brave enough to go into work Monday morning bloated and slightly hungover. If you’re willing to ask your guests to brave an awful start to their work week, you should have the courtesy to do it right.

The legacies of American brewing and the NFL are intertwined. No less a luminary than John Madden helped legitimize light beer.  Franchises across the spectrum have official craft beer sponsors now. Tens of millions of dollars will be spent by MillerCoors and InBev on beer advertising during the Super Bowl alone.

This all makes for a very thirsty experience for the big game. A key component to any Super Bowl party is a well-stocked fridge. Beer isn’t for everyone, but there’s a good chance it’ll be the most popular beverage at any gathering where Bengals-Rams is the centerpiece.

So what’ll you need to ensure a proper Super Bowl beer experience? There are five components to a perfectly balanced big game beer fridge. And, since I’m lucky enough to live smack-dab in the center of America’s greatest drinking state, I’m gonna give yas a proper Wisconsin option for each to go along with the macro-brews you’ll be able to find elsewhere.
