This weekend's Premier League fixtures may be impacted by Storm Eunice, with gusts of up to 80mph in London.
The Met Office have issued a red weather warning, meaning there is a danger to life, for the majority of the south of England, which may impact Arsenal's match against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium, as well as Chelsea's trip to Selhurst Park as they come up against Crystal Palace.
Citizens in London have been advised to stay at home and Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has admitted that the winds have certainly been noticed at the club's London Colney training ground.
Speaking about the storm in his pre-match press conference, the Spaniard said: "Yeah, we had to change the session.
"It was too windy to do what we wanted to do, so we had to adapt and do one part inside, and one part outside. We were safe, which was the most important thing and we managed to do some bits."
Despite the Blues announcing that their Premier League 2 clash with Tottenham had been postponed due to high winds, as things stand, the aforementioned Premier League matches in north and south London are expected to go ahead.
Meanwhile, Spurs will be travelling to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City, where the threat warning is currently amber, the second-highest alert level for wind.
On Friday transport for Greater Manchester had asked customers to "please consider whether your journey is essential today and take care if you are out and about".
Still, the match between Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola's sides are still set to go ahead, as things stand.
