Tottenham pulled off a miracle in the East Midlands on Wednesday night as Steven Bergwijn scored twice in injury time to seal a 3-2 win against Leicester - but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg deserves some plaudits too.
Patson Daka had fired the hosts into the lead in the first half only for Harry Kane to ensure the sides went in level at half-time with the 250th goal of his club career.
But it was Leicester who retook the lead, James Maddison firing in off the post and as the clock ticked into injury time, it looked likely to finish 2-1.
Bergwijn had other ideas, however. In the 95th minute, the ball dropped to him after some determined play from Matt Doherty and the 24-year-old buried the equaliser. Seconds later, and straight from kick-off, a Kane through ball slipped him in on goal again.
Cool heads were required as he rounded Kasper Schmeichel and sent the travelling fans wild.
Antonio Conte was full of praise for the winger after the game too.
"In the past when someone asks me about Steven Bergwijn I was very clear," he told his post-match press conference on Wednesday night.
"I said that for me he is an important player because he has characteristics that in our squad we don’t have many creative players.
"He is very good in one vs one, good to beat the man. He can play striker, he can play number 10 and for us, for me, he is an important player and we have to try to improve, to become stronger, not to lose a player and become less strong."
While Bergwijn will rightly get all the plaudits for the win, a moment during the celebrations from Hojbjerg - who was also impressive throughout - could prove pivotal to Tottenham going forward.
As the winger celebrated his winner wildly, he made a beeline for the travelling fans in the corner of the King Power Stadium and prepared to vault the advertising boards to meet them.
But as he was about to step over, his shirt was grabbed by the Denmark midfielder, stopping him from getting a potenitally embarrassing red card.
Going into the crowd is an automatic yellow card in football and, having been booked just a few minutes earlier, it could have soured a special moment for the player.
It could well prove an important act for the team, too, with Bergwijn likely to be brimming with confidence ahead of a huge game with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
