Ahead of the 2020 Championship play-off final, between Fulham and Brentford, sports financial analysts Deloitte said promotion would mean an increase in revenue of at least £135m over the next three seasons for the winning club.
And Deloitte also said that figure could rise steeply to a whopping £265m over a five-year period, if the club then avoids relegation in their first season in the Premier League.
