Boston Celtics rookie wing Jordan Walsh has exceeded expectations in his play at the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League so far, hinting at a more complete player than many Celtics fans and analysts believed Boston was getting so late in the 2023 NBA draft.
Walsh, taken 38th overall, had very poor spacing in his sole NCAA season with the Arkansas Razorbacks, but his head coach Eric Musselman has gone out of his way to push the idea that Walsh has more to offer offensively than he had a chance to show in his short time playing for Arkansas last season.
On a recent episode of the CLNS Media “Celtics Beat” podcast, host Adam Kaufman spoke with Heavy’s Sean Deveney about what he has heard about Walsh and his potential.
Check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say about the Texan wing’s untapped potential.
