How much Rangers have earned by winning Europa League tie

Rangers have earned a win bonus for their Europa League result against Union Saint-Gilloise.

Philippe Clement's side claimed a 2-1 win against the Belgian club in their final match of the league phase of the competition.

The victory at Ibrox has earned Rangers €450k (£375k) from UEFA. A draw in the Europa League comes with a €150k (£125k) bonus.

Rangers have already banked €4.31m (£3.6m) for qualifying for the league phase of the Europa League this term. That fee is separated into a down payment of €4.14m and a balance of €170k.

The win bonus against Union SG is Rangers' third of the Europa League the season with the same figure banked for victories over Malmo, FCSB and Nice.

They earned the draw bonus for results against Olympiacos and Tottenham in the revamped league phase of the UEFA tournament.

Qualification to the round of 16 will see Rangers bank another €1.75m.

Potential Europa League bonus payments

1st to 8th in league phase - €600k (£500k)

9th to 16th in league phase - €300k (£250k)

At least €75k - increased by the same figure for every position above the bottom in the league phase.
