Notts County came third in the National League table of agent spending as new figures showed the Magpies spent more than £50,000 to intermediaries in the last year.
The Football Association has released documents which show how much clubs across the country spent on agent fees as part of increased transparency on transfers. And the Magpies forked out £53,061 from February 2021 to January this year putting them behind Wrexham who were second behind leaders Stockport who spent more than £130,000.
According to the FA, among the 11 transactions involving intermediaries at Notts were deals that included the arrival of Matt Palmer on a free transfer from Swindon Town last summer. Kyle Cameron's arrival from Torquay United on a free transfer was also on the list as were moves for Joel Taylor and Kairo Mitchell who both arrived from Chesterfield for undisclosed fees.

Chesterfield spent £45,000 on agents fees while Solihull Moors spent more than £35,000 in the last year. Bottom of the table when it came to agent spending were King's Lynn who spent just £1,200.
