More than 210,000 people flock to Worthy Farm in Somerset each year to attend the UK's biggest music extravaganza, with each having paid an entry fee months before Glastonbury Festival gets going. The famous event has a maximum capacity and in recent years, tickets have sold out in just under an hour.
However, if you aren't one of the many thousands to have managed to secured a ticket when they first come out, festival organisers hold a resale event later on in the year. This is because many fail to pay the ticket deposit or end up cancelling their trip.
This year, the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, Elton John, Lizzo, Lewis Capaldi and Lana Del Rey will feature in one of the most star studded line-ups in recent history. The festival starts on Wednesday, June 21 and ends Sunday, June 25 - with headliners playing from Friday, June 23 through to Sunday.
Can you still buy Glastonbury Festival 2023 tickets?
Glastonbury Festival is sold out this year, with general sale tickets selling out in under an hour on November 6, 2022. Tickets and coach travel options went on sale on Thursday, November 3 and were snapped up within 25 minutes.
Following unprecedented demand this year, organiser Emily Eavis wrote in a statement: "Thank you to everyone who tried to buy a ticket. Your loyalty to this festival is deeply appreciated. There will be a ticket resale in spring 2023, so if you didn't get one, please do try again then."
Tickets were then available for resale on April 20 and 23, but soon sold out. It means there are no more tickets available for this year's event. Glastonbury organisers are keen to stress tickets can only be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com and not via unlicensed resellers.
How much do Glastonbury tickets cost?
General admission for full weekend tickets for Glastonbury 2023 cost £335 plus a £5 booking fee. You can buy up to six tickets per transaction, by paying a deposit of £50 per person when tickets go on sale.

The £335 plus £5 booking fee was payable in the first week of April 2023. After that, those who had not paid, had their tickets placed back up for sale.

- Support for Oxfam, Greenpeace, WaterAid and hundreds of other worthy causes (£2m given annually in recent years)
- Funds to improve the Festival's infrastructure and environmental impact
