How much celebs such as Stacey Solomon and Rochelle Hulmes really earn on Instagram

'Mumfluencers' are one of the most profitable trends to be a part of on social media.

This consists of celebrity mums showing fans a 'real look' into their home lives, including how they bring up their children. Loose Women's Stacey Solomon is a prime example, as she has managed to amass five million followers on Instagram by sharing updates on her family and being frank about the realities of raising kids.

But she isn't alone, as close friend Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, and fellow ITV presenter Rochelle Hulmes also post similar honest motherhood content. And all three of them reportedly earn thousands of pounds from each post.

Cartwright & Butler worked out the highest estimated earnings, per post, from the UK’s most influential mums on Instagram. With five million followers and an engagement rate that's 10 times the industry average, Stacey Solomon came out on top with an estimated earning of £12,268 per post from a brand sponsor.

That means she could earn a salary of £637,973 a year just by uploading one post to Instagram a week. Stacey's best friend Mrs Hinch, known for her cleaning hacks and family orientated content, was the second highest potential earner. With more than four million followers, who call themselves "Hinchers", she could be earning £10,596.62 per sponsored post.

That means she could earn £551,024 a year by posting once a week on Instagram. Rochelle Humes also made the top ten list and was revealed to be the mumfluencer with the sixth highest earning potential. The singer and TV presenter could apparently get £5,037.83 for one Instagram post which would be £283,427.04 if she uploaded a sponsored post once a week for a year.

The appeal of mumfluencers comes from their openness about the ups and downs of motherhood and their focus on family. Stacey Solomon's Instagram bio proudly names her a "Mummy to 4 amazing pickles" before anything else and almost every post features at least one of her children Zachary, Leighton, Rex or baby Rose.
