Shetland is back on BBC One for series seven. The long-standing crime drama starring Douglas Henshall, Alison O'Donnell, and Steven Robertson is back for another season.
The seventh season is a poignant one as it will be Douglas Henshall's last outing as DI Jimmy Perez after nearly a decade in the iconic role.
The acclaimed murder-mystery series will see Perez take on a thrilling final investigation that will draw him into the secret past of a family new to Shetland, revealing an unimaginable threat to the community.

How many episodes of Shetland BBC One are there?
Shetland starts on BBC One on Wednesday, August 10 at 9pm. The new series is made up of six hour-long episodes.
