Jude Law is a proud father to five children, and that could soon be six, as his new photos taken of himself and wife Phillipa Coan show her displaying a prominent baby bump.
The actor, who has starred in films including Fantastic Beasts and The Holiday, has had a number of high-profile relationships throughout his career. Here’s everything you need to know:
How many children does Jude Law have?
The 47-year-old is currently father to five children. His eldest, 23-year-old Rafferty, 19-year-old Iris and 17-year-old Rudy, are from his first marriage to actress Sadie Frost.
In 2009 daughter Sophia was born during a brief relationship with actress Samantha Burke.
His fifth child, daughter Ada, was born in 2015 during Jude’s relationship with singer-songwriter Catherine Harding.
Now he looks set to be a father again with new wife Coan, although neither of them has addressed the pregnancy rumours.
How many times has Jude Law been married?
The actor has been married just twice. His first marriage was to actress and designer Sadie Frost. They met during filming of 1992’s Shopping, and were one of the most famous couples of the nineties as part of the infamous “Primrose Hill” set. The pair married in 1997, but divorced six years later in 2003, with Sadi since saying: "We had a row, a few glasses were broken... I have been self-destructive, especially when I had postnatal depression."
He met Sienna Miller during filming of Alfie in late 2003 and the pair became engaged in 2004. However, in July 2005, Law issued a public apology to Miller for having an affair with his children's nanny. The couple split in November 2006.
In 2019 he married Coan - who holds a PhD in environmental change and runs her own consultancy - in a small London ceremony.
Speaking to the Telegraph previously, the Rhythm Section star said he’d be keen to become a father again. “I love it, so absolutely, why not [have another child]? I’m very lucky to be involved with someone I’m madly in love with. The idea of having more children would be just wonderful.”
Saying that he was “fortunate” to be with Coan, he continued, “We have an incredibly stable and healthy, wonderful family existence and that involves my kids who are young adults… and then the younger ones are just so much joy and so much fun.”
