Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga has insisted the competition for places is 'healthy' at the club this season.
Ralf Rangnick permanently promoted Elanga to the first-team during his interim tenure. Rangnick was impressed with Elanga in his first training session in charge and the 20-year-old proceeded to make 14 starts in the Premier League.
Elanga is considered Rangnick's legacy, but the forward's involvement has been reduced following the appointment of Erik ten Hag, who has given the academy graduate just 475 minutes on the pitch this season in comparison.

The Swede has also lacked quality when he's played, as he's failed to score in the new campaign and recorded just one assist.
Elanga's best position is on the right wing and Ten Hag signed Antony, who has become first-choice in that position, in the summer and that's something that the player was recently asked about, with his minutes having been reduced.
"I wouldn't say it affects me, I wouldn't even say there's pressure [to perform]," Elanga said at an event in India when asked about competition for places. "I'd say it's healthy because when you have competition, it makes you work even harder.
"So when you get the opportunity to play, you want to take your chance. I take everything as a challenge and whenever I get an opportunity on the pitch, I always want to take it with two hands and two feet."
Elanga is currently in Spain for United's training camp.
