How Malin Andersson overcame tragedy and heartbreak as she shares pregnancy news

Former Love Island star Malin Andersson has announced she's pregnant again.

The happy news comes two years after Malin lost her daughter Consy at just four weeks old.

Consy, who was named after Malin's mother who died of cancer, was born seven weeks premature and had to be transferred to the intensive care unit at Great Ormond Street hospital in London, where she tragically died less than a month later.

Malin suffered yet more heartbreak this year when she endured a miscarriage.

Following a devastating few years for the reality star, Malin shared this week that she's expecting again with her partner Jared.

Acknowledging her past struggles, Malin captioned a gorgeous black and white photo of her blossoming baby bump with: "My next chapter. My new beginning. My happy ending. My entire universe. All mine.

"I can't describe to you all how I feel writing this. Everything I've ever wanted, everything I visualised.

"A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background - witnessed my life over the past 4 years and has stuck by me as a friend.. and now a lover.

"My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up... because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this."

Malin was struck by tragedy when her daughter was born seven weeks premature in 2019 and passed away aged just four weeks.

The star also lost her beloved mum, who died in 2017 after a brave battle with skin cancer.

In a painful chain of events Malin later revealed she had suffered a miscarriage, just two years after the tragic death of her daughter.

Speaking last year she said: "I found out I was pregnant - and I then soon after miscarried. It pains me to talk about this in detail right now due to what happened to Consy.. but I want you all to know that miscarriage doesn’t discriminate and it can happen to anyone. Even when you think you have gone through enough."

However sadly for Malin the bad times continued after she was assaulted by her violent ex.

Malin has been open with her followers about recovering from being in an abusive relationship, however, the attack left the star battling PTSD.

Last year, she told in an emotional online post of being “hit, pushed, kicked, scratched, spoken down to, controlled, manipulated, cheated on, and so much more”.

Despite her uphill struggle Malin bravely told her followers: "I’ll be fine - my strength never ceases to amaze me sometimes but I felt that I needed to share this with you all as I’ve never been one to hold anything back - especially when I know it can help someone else."

And now the star appears to be doing just that taking to Twitterto share her daily "Malin's Mantra", which she uses to give her followers motivation.

In her gorgeous baby bump snap, Malin said:"Creating a life you love, like actually creating it, for real, and really loving it, will require that you always seek to grow and expand your heart, your soul, mind, and vibration — to new levels."

In a separate post she penned: "Gratitude is an attitude. Gratitude is a response....Gratitude is how you take your power back."

With her positive attitude and wise words it looks like motivational Malin has done exactly that.
