How Liverpool WAGs celebrated Premier League win

Liverpool player's wives and girlfriends celebrated well into the night as the Reds were crowned Premier League champions.

Manchester City's defeat to Chelsea on Thursday night ensured Liverpool claimed their first top-flight title in 30 years.

The Reds clinched the title with a record seven games to spare, 23 points ahead of a distant second-placed City.

Celebrations took place all over Merseyside last night, as fans turned the city red.

Also in high spirits were the partners of Liverpool's players, who gushed over their success.

Re-posting a photo of her boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain celebrating, the Little Mix commented a sweet message.

She captioned the post: “This picture makes me so happy. HE makes me so happy!”

The couple, who live together in a stunning apartment, previously said how they've enjoyed lockdown with one another.

Taking part in a Q&A with fans, Alex said: "She has been tremendous during quarantine.

"She’s a proper house wifey. She’s been cleaning up, cooking everyday. Meals have been unbelievable.

"She doesn’t get annoyed at me playing on the Playstation. She’s top, I love her."

After her husband, Fabinho, scored a blinder against Crystal Palace on Wednesday, Rebeca was very vocal about Liverpool's success today.

She wrote on Instagram: "Congratulations my love! I am grateful to God for allowing me to be part of making that dream come true, for allowing me to accompany and cheer you together.

"I see all your effort day after day...

"You, and the whole team deserves that title! You are too many warriors! I love you! And get ready, because it doesn't end here...."

Larissa Stollenwek

The girlfriend of Joel Matip, posted a gushing message on social media alongside a picture of the defender.

She said: "We did it! Congratulations to @liverpoolfc on winning the league and more importantly Bebo.

"I am so proud of you. This has been such a difficult season for you, but you never gave up and you deserve it.

"It looks like 2020 will be a good year for us after all..."

Larissa shared a video of her husband Roberto Firmino kneeling on the pitch, with 'You'll Never Walk Alone" playing in the background.

Well-known for their Christian faith, Larissa captioned the video with a bible verse.

Writing in Portuguese, Larissa said: "To him who is able to do infinitely more than everything we ask or think, according to his power that works in us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, for all generations, forever and ever! Amen!" Ephesians 3: 20-21 NIV"

She wrote: ""The best person I know is yesterday's Premier League champion and celebrated in Havaianas.
