How Leeds United supporters can apply for 10 per cent season ticket rebate after relegation

Rebates for Leeds United’s 10 per cent increase to season ticket prices can now be claimed by supporters. The club is giving fans from June 19 until July 14 to either claim the money back directly or leave it on their ticketing accounts as credit.

The cheapest adult season tickets at Elland Road saw a price rise of around £77 from 22/23 to 23/24. That is an example of the rebate adults in that category can now claim back, though it will be different across the various bands.

Supporters must log on here and apply online for their rebate. For a direct bank transfer, the club will require your sort code and account number. Alternatively, the rebate can be left on your ticketing account to be redeemed against 24/25 season tickets.

After July 14, no further rebate applications will be processed by the club. Any rebates not requested before midnight on July 14 will be donated to the club’s academy. Rebate applications will be processed after that July deadline and all payments will be dealt with before the new season.

When the price hike was announced in March, a United statement said: “We appreciate any increase in the current economic climate is unwelcome, particularly when it coincides with poor performance on the pitch.

“The decision has not been taken lightly, but we believe the new pricing is consistent with both our principle of running the club’s finances responsibly and maintaining our commitment to affordable football at Elland Road. Our prices will remain among the cheapest in the Premier League.”

United also said: "This rise will only partially offset the significant increase we have seen in matchday operational costs over the same period, which is below the prevailing rate of inflation."
