Leeds United's 1-0 victory over Southampton at Elland Road has seen them move up two places to 17th in the table, with defeats for Everton and Bournemouth capping off a near-perfect set of results in the Premier League.
Junior Firpo's 77th minute strike sealed victory for Javi Gracia's side in a crucial relegation clash against the Saints. The former Watford boss was delighted with the win and although there is still room for improvement, the victory would have given the Spaniard cause for optimism that he can continue moving the club in the right direction.
However, it was not just the result at Elland Road that made the weekend so sweet for the Whites. Everton, who started the day two points ahead of Leeds in the table, lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at Goodison Park as the Toffees traded places with Gracia's side in the bottom three.

And Bournemouth also suffered defeat this weekend as Manchester City ran out 4-1 winners at the Vitality Stadium. Arsenal further helped Leeds by beating Leicester City 1-0 at the King Power Stadium - the Foxes. are now just two points ahead of Leeds in 14th place.
The only slight blemish came when West Ham blew Nottingham Forest away with four goals in the space of 15 minutes in the second-half. A draw or defeat for the Hammers would have seen Leeds sit 16th in the table, yet they will take some solace in the fact that Steve Cooper's side are now only three points ahead of them in 13th place after the loss.
With that in mind, we have taken a look at how the bottom-half of the table looks after a bumper weekend of results for Leeds both at Elland Road and further afield.
