Kyogo Furuhashi has already broken a European record without making his debut for Rennes.
The Japanese striker completed his move to the French Ligue 1 side on Monday, penning a two-and-a-half-year deal in Brittany, with winger Jota going the other way and making an emotional return to Celtic.
While Rennes boss Jorge Sampaoli wanted Furuhashi to make his debut against Monaco last weekend, it wasn't to be, and the 30-year-old will have to wait until this Sunday's clash with Strasbourg to make his bow in red and black.

Without taking to the field for his new club yet, though, the forward has already broken a European transfer record.
Indeed, per MailSport, Furuhashi's £10m move to northern France makes him the most expensive player over the age of 26 to have moved to one of Europe's top-five leagues without any prior experience at such a level.
He continually hit new heights over the course of his time in Glasgow's east end, and already in France, Furuhashi is making waves.
The ex-Vissel Kobe man scored 85 goals across 165 Celtic appearances, winning eight trophies along the way.
He will now look to continue his dynasty in mainland Europe after a mid-season switch.
