Christmas day has come and gone and a host of Irish stars have shared what their festive day looked like.
Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian
It was a special Christmas for Brian and Arthur as the couple spent it as parents for the first time.
The couple welcomed a baby girl named Blake Maria Rose Dowling Gourounlian on September 1.
Taking to Instagram on Christmas morning, the proud parents shared an adorable photo of them and Blake in matching pyjamas opening her presents from Santa Claus.
Brian captioned the post: “He CAME! Of course, little Ms. Blake Maria Rose was on the nice list Blake woke up this morning just after 9 am. Long may she wake after 9 am for the many, many, many Christmas mornings to come for the rest of our @gourounlian lives .”
Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews
The couple took their children to the gorgeous Glen Affric estate, which is owned by Spencer’s family and is where the pair tied the knot in 2018.
Their three kids Theodore, Gigi and Otto looked gorgeous dressed in tartan for the festive day as they all got together for a family photograph.
The kids got to ditch their Christmas day clothes later as they went playing outside, with Spencer posting a picture of Theodore and Gigi holding hands while on a swing.
Nicky and Georgina Byrne
Westlife singer Nicky had a busy house this year as he hosted his Malahide neighbours for a few drinks on Christmas night.
The Dubliner was all smiles as he posed next to his twin boys Jay and Rocco, 15, his wife Georgina and their daughter Gia, 9 on Christmas Day for a pic by the stairs. And their family dog Chino even made the picture.
Muireann O’Connnell
Muireann teased her mum, Marie, in their festive snap, wearing white for Christmas Day.
Muireann recently announced she was engaged but has yet to set a date for the big day.
She told followers that “I keep trolling my mother, wearing white, giving her hope I’ll actually get married.”
Amanda Byram
Amanda looks sensational as she posted a picture of her in a bikini with one-year-old Phoenix.
The TV host, 49, showcased her washboard abs and toned legs in the photo posted to her Instagram from the Resort Cordial Santa Águeda in Spain.
Amanda laughed as Phoenix stared up at a giant snowman while he stood next to his mother in the image taken by her TV producer husband Julian Okines.
She captioned the image: “Happy happy Christmas one and all from us and Mr Snowman.”
Rosanna Davison
Rosanna, Wes and their three children, Sophia, Hugo and Oscar spent Christmas Day with Rosanna’s parents in Wicklow.
The former Miss World shared sweet snaps from the occasion on Instagram, alongside a touching message.
She wrote: “Bursting with gratitude for yesterday. It was all about just being together, and to have a happy, healthy family together in the one room enjoying the day is all you can really hope for.”
“If you found the day tough for any number of reasons, I’m sending you the biggest virtual hug. Well done for getting through it .”
Una Healy
The Saturdays singer had a child free Christmas as her two kids Aoife Belle and Tadhg were away in Cheshire with their father Ben Foden.
While Aoife Belle and Tadhg went to Ben’s family in Cheshire for Christmas, Una enjoyed the day with her childhood bestie Sinead O’Dwyer in London.
Una shared a selfie of them on Instagram, alongside the caption: “Christmas Day 2022 with @sineadmarylucia .”
Greg O’Shea
Greg spent the day in his native Limerick with family and friends.
Sharing photos from the occasion on Instagram, he wrote: “Love this time of year with my day 1 huns! Wishing you a very merry Christmas… I hope you had the best time.”
