Wales is in for another sizzling few days according to the Met Office and BBC Weather. According to today's forecast, Wales will be "very warm" with temperatures surpassing Spain and the south of France today.
The Met Office website says: "Any early mist, shallow fog or low cloud will quickly clear away to leave a fine day with lengthy periods of strong sunshine. Temperatures quickly climbing and feeling very warm by this afternoon with just a gentle breeze. Maximum temperature 28 °C.
"Remaining fine and warm into this evening and staying dry overnight with largely clear skies. Temperatures only slowly falling away and remaining warm in urban areas. Minimum temperature 9 °C."

The best of this weather will be felt in Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Builth Wells, Llandovery, and Newtown, however, the rest of Wales will also be able to enjoy the sunshine. Despite the hot temperatures, the Met Office lists the UV rating as 'Moderate'. However, the pollen count is high today so it's advised to take your antihistamines sooner rather than later.
These are the forecast temperatures from the Met Office for 4pm on Wednesday:
Both the Met Office and BBC Weather anticipate the warm weather continuing, predicting 28 °C again for Thursday. Mid-Wales will see the best of this weather, but again a sunny day is forecast throughout the country.
However, with any period of humidity, it must come to an end and temperatures appear to cool off on Friday, peaking in the high teens. The Met Office said: "Dry and mostly sunny to start the day but probably turning somewhat cloudier during the afternoon with scattered showers or thunderstorms possibly developing in places. Feeling very warm. Maximum temperature 28 °C.
"Turning cooler. Cloudier on Friday with scattered showers developing, these possibly merging into longer spells of rain overnight. Sunshine and heavy showers over the weekend, these turning thundery in places."
